To help keep all your jewelry looking its best and to save yourself extra cleaning time, remove all pieces before showering, swimming, washing your hands or using household cleaners. Additionally, jewelry should avoid contact with lotion, sunscreen, hairspray, and perfume.

 

Gold Filled Jewelry Care

When not wearing, store your jewelry in an airtight bag or container. Gold filled jewelry is fairly resistant to tarnishing; however, regular wear and exposure to humidity and personal care products can dull its luster over time. To return your piece to its original shine, there are a few easy options:

1. Soak for a few minutes in warm, soapy water using a mild dish detergent, then rub with a lint-free or microfiber cloth. A soft toothbrush can be used for small spaces and crevices, just don't overdo it!

2. Spritz with Windex, rinse with warm water, then rub with a lint-free or microfiber cloth. Windex works especially well for removing grime and oil.

3. For ease and convenience, we also recommend buffing with Sunshine Polishing Cloths, which are readily available online. 


Gold Vermeil & Gold-Plated Jewelry Care

When not wearing, store your jewelry in an airtight bag or container. To polish, soak for a few minutes in warm, soapy water using a mild dish detergent, then rub with a lint-free or microfiber cloth. Avoid jewelry cloths (even Sunshine cloths) that contain any chemical cleaners or abrasives, as these can strip the gold layer from the base metal.


Gemstone and Mineral Care

Corals, opals, onyx, shells, pearls, and turquoise are all softer or porous elements that require special care. Avoid soaking these even in soapy water for long periods or using any chemical cleaners or abrasives on them, as this may damage or weaken them. 


Silk Tassel Care

Whenever possible, store your tassel jewelry hanging or in a box separate from other jewelry to avoid crimping. To bring your tassel back to perfection, touch up using a steamer or an iron at its lowest setting.

 

 

SHIPPING

Orders of in stock items typically ship out within 2 - 5 Business days excluding holidays. This processing time applies to all methods of shipping including Priority Mail; therefore, please add this time to the shipping time to better estimate an accurate delivery time frame.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. If stock availability has changed, you will be notified via email with an approximate restocking date. Custom orders will ship in a time frame determined when the order is placed. 

U.S. Orders:

  • FREE Standard shipping for ALL orders $75+ via USPS First Class
  • $2.95 Standard shipping for orders under $75 via USPS First Class
  • $6.95 Flat rate for ANY order via USPS Priority Mail

    All orders shipping internationally are subject to additional charges based on taxes, tariffs and duties put into place by that country. All fees are to be paid for by the customer at the time of delivery. Pure Indigo Design does not have information on customs or duties and cannot estimate these charges. Please check with the proper local authorities before placing an order. Pure Indigo Design is not responsible for non-paid import taxes, nor will Pure Indigo Design issue any refunds or exchanges for deliveries that have been refused for non-payment of import taxes.

    Lost or Stolen Packages 
     

    We are unable to replace or refund lost or stolen packages.

    We recommend selecting a secure shipping location where someone is always present to receive deliveries. If you need to make a change to your shipping address, please email us at heather@pureindigodesign.com as soon as possible. We’ll make our best attempt to change your address as long as the package has not been shipped. We cannot reroute a package once it has left our facility.

    If your package is missing, stolen, or lost in transit please contact us so we can assist you with your claim. While we’ll do everything we can to help you locate your package, we cannot refund or replace lost or stolen items.



    RETURNS & EXCHANGES

    We accept returns or exchanges of items in new, unworn condition in the original packaging within 14 days of receipt. Sale items and custom orders are Final Sales and not eligible for return. 

    If you receive an incorrect or defective item, please email a photo of the item you received to heather@pureindigodesign.com along with a brief description of the issue.

    To complete a return, please use our contact page to send us a message within 14 days of receiving the item to authorize a return or exchange. Once your return or exchange has been approved, please include a copy of your receipt and mail to:

    We recommend returns be shipped with appropriate tracking, as we are not responsible for lost packages. Items should be returned in their original packaging for protection while shipping.

    Once the item is received, a full refund of the product price will be issued or an exchange will be processed within 5 business days. Original shipping charges will not be refunded; the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. 

    Items returned 30 days after purchase or without a receipt will receive shop credit for the current selling price.
